Utah Bob #35998

Washington State - Sheriffs to inspect homes of AR owners

Recommended Posts

They actually put it in the bill. Then removed it when they got caught, calling it a mistake! BS!

An assault on the 2nd and the 4th now!

I wonder how many other bills submitted have similar garbage.

This is the language that was in the original bill before they got caught and removed it.

“In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall … safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.”

An example of 'Guess we got to pass it to see what's in it...' ...nice try legislators.

That lawmakers sponsor bills they haven’t read is common. Still, it’s disappointing on one of this political magnitude. Not counting a long table, it’s only an eight-page bill.

:wacko::blink::o:huh: OMG!?!?!?

the supporters state that they did NOT read the bill

bull spit

they were hoping no one else would read the bill

just imagine, the local law, with the right to enter you home once a year

just to see if guns are stored properly

and if not

you can get 1 year in jail with bubba as your room mate

The point is what they Tried to do. That's what is worth talking about.

Many of the pending bills around the country violate the 2nd amendment. But we can't say "They won't happen so they're not worth talking about" can we?

with the help of under informed voters

its about giging us, we spend $$$$$$$$$$$ proving our amendment rights

or

many roll over, and just let those rights go buy - by

Guys, the whole point is that regardless of what the Constitution and the Bill of Rights say the executive branch (should call it a weed sometimes) has been attempting to find ways around it for many years.

Most if not all of the BOR Amendments have seriously been compromised either by federal law that the scotus is too weak to overrule or by scotus defining exceptions.

This administration has gotten bolder since who knows what reason. And will continue this push to undermine the Constitution and the BOR.

Nothing seriously new here.

Moreover EACH branch of the government has been attempting to undermine the authority of the others.
