Americans for Responsible Solutions Initiative

Six-Shot

Recommended Posts

Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly wrote in an op-ed published in USA Today that their Americans for Responsible Solutions initiative would help raise money to support greater gun control efforts.

"Achieving reforms to reduce gun violence and prevent mass shootings will mean matching gun lobbyists in their reach and resources," they wrote in the column.

They said that it will "raise funds necessary to balance the influence of the gun lobby."

The move was hinted at in Kelly's recent comments that he and Giffords want to become a prominent voice for gun control efforts.

Diane Sawyer reported on tonight's World News that the NRA will meet with Joe Bidens "gun control" committee at the White House Thursday.

Seems like a good time to make a donation to the NRA.

Just 'nother organization... takin' advantage... of a disadvantaged person. May the Almighty... bless Ms. Gabby... but hinder her newly-organized, other-person driven, politically-motivated, misguided venture.

She has been VERY anti-gun from the getgo. <_</>/>/>

Check her 'history'.

In their interview by Diane Sawyer on this evenings World News they claim to be Glock owners and support the Second Amendment. They are either hypocites, stupid, or outright liars if they are supporting banning semi-automatic handguns that utilize extended magazines.

Wikipedia says this:

"Giffords has supported gun rights. In 2008 she opposed Washington D.C. prohibitions on possession of handguns in the home and having usable firearms there, signing an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court to support its overturn.

Despite her stated support, gun rights groups have typically given her low grades on the topic. She has a D+ rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a D from the Gun Owners of America (GOA)."

I suspect "outright liars" is the correct one.
