Dusty Morningwood
Here is something for you collectors of replica percussion revolvers. This is a rare Replica Arms 1861 Navy (.36 cal.) with a steel squareback trigger guard. These were made by Uberti to some of the highest standards. This revolver was made in 1970. Here is what Dr. Jim Davis founder of the Replica Percussion Revolver Collectors Association (RPRCA) has to say about this one: "The square back trigger guard in steel on the 1861 Navy is very rare. RPRCA only has one of these in its collection and it has a Full Fluted Cylinder. I have the 1861 Navy with straight cylinder and steel SqBk TG listed in my list of variations but I cannot remember where the info about this is. Regardless, it is an extremely rare variation of the 1861 Navy. Replica Arms seems to be the only company that imported this particular variation. Congratulations on this find." The revolver appears unfired (but I cannot be certain) and shows no turn marks on cylinder. Case colors are dark and vivid. Bluing is the signature Replica Arms almost black blue. Revolver shows some handling and storage marks and has slight blemish near muzzle on right side of barrel. $325 shipped to your door. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/lfull.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/rfull.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/cc.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/lgrip.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/rrip.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/logo.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/rudybolla/RA%201861%20Navy/blemish.jpg

Dusty Morningwood
.36 cal., correct? Yes. .36 cal. Better edit post. I am making a few assumptions considering that there exist so-called Navy .44s.
