Noah Cash
My better half, now known as "Hilda Billie", bought me a Win 97 16 guage this weekend, un touched and still origional. I would like to find out about when it was made. I know there is someone who has records of Ser #'s produced by year, does anyone have the address or point of contact to research this info? Should I just call or write Winchester? Who or what office in the Win Corp? Any help would be appreciated.

Noah Cash
Thanks guys, that was FAST.... The Ser No. is 6058XX, near as I can figure, that puts it late in 1915. Thanks for the link too, I also dated the Mod 94 32 Win Spec that was my Dads. I was about 1 Y/O when that hit the shelves. Knowing how little my Dad ever shot it I woiuld bet it has not had 100 rounds through the tube yet. Appreciate the help!
