The addition of the laser weapon module brings high-precision accuracy against surface and air targets such as small boats and unmanned aerial vehicles. The system also provides the ability to deliver different levels of laser energy, depending on the target and mission objectives. Great photo on that page too. Apache Hawk 60642
The Navy had a new Fail-links system on board all ships when I last rode them. It fired, as best I can remember, 3MM per square inch ! Saw one on da USS Midway CV-41. But dey don't work on other ships as the Midway had a collistion in da Ma-laca straights , leavin' the pacfic and entering the Indain Ocean. 2 sailors died and abandon ship was almost ordered. Ship limbed back to Subic Bay, P.I. for repairs.
