Aunt Jen Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 For Memorial Day, Painless and I went to the Reagan Presidential Library today in Simi Valley. It's always nice, but today it seemed especially beautiful: 72 degrees, no wind, clear skies... We saw his burial site, a race car exhibit, Air Force One, tribute films to him, a piece of the Berlin Wall... I thought it was a great way to share, and Painless got into it, too. We owe a lot to everyone who has served, and to those who gave it all. Blessings Aunt Jen

Uno Mas SASS #80082 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Aunt Jen; Our Clan makes a family trip there every few years. Last time, the majority of the museum was shut down in preparation for new exhibits to be unveiled on Feb 6th, 2011, the centennial of RWR's birth. What did you think? Beautiful up there. Although, the pollen round the grave-site and the slab of the Berlin Wall always seem to always inflame my allergies.
