Cheyenne Culpepper 32827 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 It was a year ago today the Elyria Police officer James Kerstettor was killed in the line of duty. I have to admit I had to dig out the kleenex box. Jimmy was a student in my wife's 4th grade class and of all the kids she taught over 30yrs he was most likely my favorite. His mother told my daughter today, "that whenever they think of Jimmy and his school days they think of his beloved Mrs Hoover (Sweet Addy). Jimmy was the type of officer whose heart never hardened toward those he served. when he saw someone who may have gotten into something they shouldn't have he would try to help them out. To those who serve as LEOs, never let your heart be hardened, but ALWAYS keep your guard up. Cheyenne Quote
