Lone Dog, SASS #20401
Nope. Commanders have 4" barrels. WB requires a 5" barrel.
Guest
Wild Bunch calls for only full sized 1911's, i.e. 5 inch. The Colt Commander is 4.25 inch. The original Colt Commander was made with an alloy frame. In 1970 Combat Commander was produced & it had a steel frame. From then on the original Commander name was changed to Lightweight Commander. The 1911 Commander sized firearm, in whatever material, is my idea of the perfect fighting firearm.
