One of my favorite football quotes was made by a sports writer, whose name escapes me now, about the late Redskins coach George Allen. What he said was that "George Allen traded away so many future draft choices in his pursuit of veteran players, that by the time the Redskins finally fired him, his closest draft choice was still in the 5th grade."
