Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Copied from the rule book: "Ammunition with bullets recessed below the case mouth is disallowed." just curious--why? thanks, Cheyenne
Ivory Jack, #8534 LTG Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 If I remember correctly...it was 1999 at the TG Summit. This was added because someone was loading wadcutters so deep the bullet was actually recessed in the case mouth. It was supposedly difficult to differentiate them from empty rounds and therefore a safety issue.
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 OK, that makes sense. CR
