However in my defense I have read umpteen million shooters who believe that Black Powder should only be shot in Stainless guns, that it will quickly rust a blued gun. That is why I mentioned the method I use to clean BP fouling in my guns. It does help prevent rust, perhaps better than some other methods. I also have read gazillion posts about Stainless being easier to clean than blued, hence my statement to the contrary. However, you are correct, I made an assumption about what you meant, and we all know about the first three letters of assumption. Hope this calms the troubled waters. And now, without further ado, except an editorial comment that I think a Stainless SAA is blasphemy, I return this post back from hijack land.
