He is out of his mind and he is going to get an officer killed! I took an oath to uphold/enforce the law 24/7/365! I also needed to be able to protect myself and family outside of work! If the bad guy you arrested a week ago sees you eating dinner or at the store and knows you are unarmed, you are done and the chief is to blame! He also open the door for a major law suit for the officers to sue the city in case there is an officers death because of this! I would be looking for a new job ASAP!

Yes Colt has a high price but you get what you pay for! Colt uses better steel and alloy, better additives like vanadium (which help cool the barrel faster and better) Colt puts all bolts and barrels though test that others do not (others only test some of them)! Colt uses military specifications, other do not! Colt uses bolts capable of full auto, other do not! Colt cuts longer feed ramps, others do not! You need to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges! I love my Colt 6920 and do not plain to let her go!

WD-40 is a penetrating oil and it can/will foul your ammo if it comes in contact, plus it will turn to a sticky varnish if left in hard to clean areas and will pick up dust and lint. It is not a gun oil!
