Question on 45 colt seating& crimping. I am using RCBS Carbide 45 colt dies, unfired new starline brass, 200 gr Cast SWC. To keep at just under max OAL (1.5970), the bullet is seated above crimping groove. I have also tried sierra 200 gr V and in order to stay just below max oal, the case mouth is above the cannelure. Am I doing something wrong or is this acceptable? Help, input suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks. Doc
