Old model Ruger Bisley's. Been shooting the same pair of guns for 17 years. Still going. And they have been shot A LOT.

It would not take one of our cards. Had to use a 2nd card and it went through. Talking with a few friends. They had the same thing. BUT. WE GOT IN. My main worry was getting in early enough for our camping spot.

Most I know are getting away from the SS Marlin. Going with the Widdermatic Marlin.

My favorite match of the year. Wife will be ready to get us signed up at High Noon.

All I ever shoot is Duelist or GFer. Went YEARS without short stroking my pistols. Much prefer them short stroked. Not sure I am really any faster. BUT. I did notice not having to do the whole ring around the Ruger anywhere close to what I did before the short stroke. You might find it different. I can only speak for myself. You shouldn't have any problem finding someone in your local club that has some already done. I'm sure they would be happy to let you try them out. See if you think it's worth the money to have done. For me. It was.
