Crooked River Pete, SASS 43485

I had one years ago, shooting at a pond I could see the difference in the different settings. I looked for one for an 870 for years never found one. Uglier than screw ins but much easier to use.

Both my Marlins have a rear sight that folds down. I often fold it down when shooting, makes it easier to find the next target.

Around the magazine release? A failure common to that model.

Well apparently I was wrong, I have one of those , pulled it out and it's just like that. Looked it up found this: 15 INTERNAL KEY-OPERATED LOCK • Your M&P® 22 COMPACT pistol is equipped with an internal key operated lock (FIGURE 17). NOTE: The internal key operated lock is only accessible when the safety lever is up in the “SAFE” position. However that is a 22 much different than the center fire guns.

That looks like where the safety goes, I wonder if it's just the safety with out the thumb lever but a key instead?

I have several M&P automatics, none have a lock or magazine disconnect.
