Col. Nathan C. Riddles, SASS # 7462 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Just what does the EoT spouse Guest Badge entitle the spouse to? I need to decide whether to get my wife ( who is a SASS member but won't be shooting) a Guest Badge or Conventioneer entry?
Happy Jack, SASS #20451 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 A conventioneer gets to shoot the "conventioneer" stages if any are set up, and also they usually have a "conventioneer" costume contest. A "Guest" gets to stay and enjoy the evening's festivities like everyone else, but can't shoot or enter the costume contest. If she's only going to shop and enjoy the festivities a guest badge is a better deal.
Chuckwagon SASS #22 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Don't forget that a wife can't attend the seminars and forums but a conventioneer can. My wife likes to look in on these extras while I am on the range. I pay the few extra dollars for the upgrade so no one turns her away. Also she can play at the Belle Union etc.
Col. Nathan C. Riddles, SASS # 7462 Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 Thanks pards for the info. We're all signed up & ready to go. See yall in June.
Jess Nicktem, SASS #47284 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I am 19 and plan on going to EoT. My dad doesn't shoot, however according to SASS rules he needs to be there when I shoot. Does he need to get the Guest badge?
Happy Jack, SASS #20451 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Jess, you probably won't get a correct answer to that on the wire. Call SASS hdqtrs. at 714-694-1815. Ask Hipshot or Wildshot. You had better sign up soon if you want to shoot the main(2nd.) weekend.
Black Harris #154 Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Actually there is a toll free number for SASS HQ (877) 411-7277 BH
