Dusty Morningwood Posted December 1, 2024 Share Posted December 1, 2024 (edited) This rifle was used on and off by me as a main match gun for Frontier Cartridge. Uberti 1866 from Cimarron. Nothing except black powder has ever been fired in it. It is chambered in .44 Spl., but has the modified carrier to run .44 Russian. I no longer have original carrier. This was an ideal setup with my .44 Russian opentops, since sold. The rifle was never run hard (I'm slow) and has only a few scratches and bumps. The receiver is a dark mustard color. Bore is very good. Functions fine. Needs a new cowboy home. $800 + Shipping to your FFL. Must be able to receive from private party or add $30 for mine to ship.
