In other life, I taught elementary school and would always tell my 5th graders that if they ever left the USA and went traveling, when folks asked them where they were from they were to say Texas and not America.

 

and the students were to tell these folks they lived on ranches and ran about 300 head of cattle--we call these statements Tall Tales and it's not lying if Texans say it
