Griff
My favorite category is Frontiersman. I got a pair of Patersons to shoot at a match. I haven't yet, as one has pretty much been non-functional since new in box. When I get it running, I WILL be using them! Since they're only five shooters, if I have a cap failure and am unable to get a round off, would I have to use another cap & ball revolver to fire the round needed to complete the stage? Or... could I carry a derringer in say a vest pocket and a couple of rounds in another pocket to fire the make up round?

There is no provision for staging a spare revolver "just in case".
