Matchlock
I am looking for a Taylor Schofield gun smith. My Schofield will not stay in time. For 1 or 2 rounds per cylinder the firing pin is hitting the cartridge rim not the primer. Please do not say to send it to Taylor. Thank you for your help. Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L
FWIW - I had a bent bolt stop pin in a S&W Schofield that acted like this. The pin would rotate and when the bend was on the bottom, it would not stop the cylinder. I straightened the pin and solved the problem.
