If I am shooting two handed, cocking with my off hand, I am a lot faster with a cross draw, drawing the off side revolver first. If I am shooting duelist style, my times with a cross draw are about the same as carrying double strong side and making a transfer, because my right thumb arthritis makes me so pitifully slow. Double duelist is a wash, too. Left thumb sucks. You realize that when I say “fast” and “slow” those are relative terms, right?
