The leaves are starting to fall and that means perfect shooting weather! Doors and gates will be open about 8:30 am. Come early if you want to help us set-up. Sign up for the match starts at 9:00 am. The match starts at 10:00 am after the Pledge and a brief safety meeting. Coffee and Donuts in the morning! Lunch is scheduled and water will be provided by the club! Five fun-filled stages of Old West wackiness and jollification! Shenango Joe says the cowboy bird launcher is all repaired, fixed, and ready to go! So come join the Shenango River Rats on Saturday October 12, 2019! At the Brookfield Conservation Club! Bring plenty of shotgun shells! Visitors and spectators are always welcome down at the cowboy range but you must wear safety glasses and your hearing protectors! We hope to see you there! If it rains; we'll have the match "under the roof" at the 25 yard range. It is supposed to rain Saturday morning but we are all set up to shoot down at the cowboy range. The plan is to set up as scheduled. The rain is supposed to stop at 10:00 am. The sky is supposed to be cloudy. The sun comes out at 11:00 am. We might run an hour behind but at this moment we plan to shoot at the cowboy range. Kat is making "pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, and maybe chips" for lunch. If it doesn't quit raining; we will set up under the roof and have a fast match. The day started off a little cloudy, wet, and chilly but turned into a nice, sunny, brisk fall day by late afternoon. Thanks to everyone for coming out to shoot with the Shenango River Rats; I hope a good time was had by all! Willie Goodnews was the top shooter today! Congratulations to Willie! Salute!
