wyliefoxEsquire
Howdy, This time of year we are filling in our travel schedule for next year. This evolves visiting many club web sites. Some are OK, some good and a few are GREAT!! I look for the following Being able to see a current calendar which includes monthly, special and annual shoots, is most helpful. Having a contact email and or phone. A clear map showing how to get there from outside your area. Photos of stages/bays. RV camping; on site or nearby suggestions. Scores Newsletter All the above is the type of information I look to find. Is the web site design easy to navigate? What do you look to find when visiting sites? Disregarding your own club, which site do you find to be GREAT.
Calico Mary
I agree with most of what you listed, and I particularly like the Tusco Long Riders site, tho I've seen a lot of other good ones too, the coffee just hasn't kicked in enough yet to remember them all. calendar is helpful contact EMAIL is an absolute must, if the only thing there is a phone #, I know the club doesn't want hearing impaired folks there so I'm not gonna bother map is nice, but give me an address too that I can plug into Mapquest and print directions to take with me photos are great, I couldn't care less about vid and don't watch them anyway scores are another absolute MUST, and not just the most recent shoot information on any charitable activities by the club, I'm more likely to visit a club that gives back to the community somehow, even if I can't make a charity shoot pics of the club members and/or at least the officers, so if I don't know anyone, I'll at least have an idea of who to look for once I'm there if I have questions or need assistance
