Johnny Loco
Looking to see what 444 Marlin stuff y'all might want to part with. Rifles, Brass, Bullets... Thanks
Matazal
I have a Marlin I'd part with. It's a centennial model. Reloading gear to go with it. I have no idea what it's worth.
Johnny Loco
Thanks I'm trying to scratch up an 18 1/2" P model or XLR. Bullets maybe some 265gr Hornady Flat points, and new brass. I bought a Gem from Kid Colter and now I'm addicted.
Kid Colter, SASS #43258
Kinda figured that would happen Johnny, glad you're enjoying it! I just completed a move back to the Black Hills and found a few more 444 items while unpacking, including a few boxes of factory ammo. Drop me a PM if interested! Johnny Loco
Almost all the responses to this I found in my junk mail, sorry I'm workin it. I'm all filled up on brass now.
Ponch
You should take a look at the marlin forum. There's a lot of 444 stuff there. I have one I bought new in 1982. It shoots very well with full power loads, under a minute of angle for 5 shots, better than my .30-06 and I tried with handloads. It just doesn't have the same effective range. Johnny Loco
I've had better luck here. I'm really trying to scrounge up another XLR to cut up.
