Used to fool folks with the question: "What western TV star roamed the West with is faithful Indian companion?" Everyone would answer the Lone Ranger but it was also Yancy! Still recall the theme song too: "In every tale of daring do they tell of Yancy D". Both Candice Bergan's and Sally Fields' mothers were regulars and it was my first hearing of "I'm your huckleberry". Underrated show.
