Looking for an 1894 Win. Barrel Pre-64, Caliber not important.

Recommended Posts

Hello All:

I have a new project in the making. That's to build an 1894 Winchester .30-30 with a 26" octagon barrel. My action is a pre-64 so barrel must be from a pre-64 Winchester....

The barrel need not be in good condition in the exterior as it will be relined. So a .25-35, .30-30, 32 Special, .32-40 or .38-55 barrel would do.

Has anyone out there in SASS Land have one they'd like to part with?

Thanks,

Cat

I have a 20" octagon 30-30 excellent bore, Theodore Roosevelt commemorative barrel that will screw on, an excellent 1894 stripped receiver (1910), and a bunch of other parts. Don't know if they will help in your project.

Thanks for the thought but am really looking to restore an old action I have laying in the corner of my work shop.
