Spades Hanlin SASS#66204
Hello Pards, Want to know of any GOOD Cowboy gunsmiths in (N.Y State) I already know of several out of state gunsmith's, and have used them before. However I don't want to ship this gun for work, I would rather take a drive to drop and pickup gun. I have a Bounty Hunter SXS that won't stay fully open, that is all I want done to it. So please if any of you pards know of a good N.Y shotgun guy I would like to hear from you.. Thanx a bunch.. Spades Hanlin.. ps: Northern P.A would work too.. Abilene, SASS # 27489
Until you get the gun worked on, there is a work-around. After you open the gun to shuck the empties, hold the opening lever toward the left with your thumb and the barrels will stay open while you reload. This is easiest if you reload with your left hand. When I first got my Baikal in '99 I shot it this way for a year before Coyote Cap happened to be at the same match as me and I handed it to him for an action job. Good luck.
