Subdeacon Joe
I know, no politics here. But I feel this also needs to be in a more active forum than TEAM SASS. We are coming down to the wire here in CA, the more who see it, the better. All you have to do is follow the link, fill out the information, they send it. https://www.firearmspolicy.org/the-issues/california/2013-2014/askbrown/ Use this form to send a letter to CA Governor Jerry Brown opposing gun control. (We’ll send it for you by email, fax, and hard copy.)The Bottom Line: If Governor Brown does not affirmatively VETO these extremist gun control bills when they’re passed by the Legislature, THEY WILL BECOME LAW! Not signing the bills is not enough — we need him to VETO the bills. Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Joe... have all of these passed both houses and gone on to the governor??? Link to comment
Subdeacon Joe
I just now checked the status of 5 of them at http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/bilinfo.html and all of them were in the suspense files of various committees. Haven't checked all of them. But, given the make up of our legislature, you might want to go ahead and send the note starting with, Dear Sir, if any of the below listed pass in the Legislature, please veto (list reasons)" because sure as taxes, they will be trotted out in the late night feeding frenzy at the end of the session and passed.
