Recommended Posts

I have a new project in mind and need a Pietta "1858" Remington in .36 cal. So, before I order one new, I figured I'd stop here first and see if any of y'all had a used one you wanted to sell.

Send me a PM with whatcha got and how much you want for it... including the shipping.

Thanks!

Great pard to deal with.

Thank you, I appreciate that. You were spot on for your part, shipped immediately, and the items were even better than described!

Great working with you,

Should you have to buy one new. Handle the .36 Uberti. It has a more authentic Navy small frame (Much lighter) and is slick right out of the box. Eventually I will purchase another fo a brace of dems.

I had a set o the Pietta .36 which is usually my go to pistol brand. But in this particular pistol the price difference is sooooooo worth it.

The not so SHAMELESS one

SW,

I agree. But, I had the Uberti early on, and switched to the Pietta about 10 yr's back, because they just fit my hand better. Used 'em right up to last year when I switched to the Ruger Old Army.

Now I have a yen to make a pair of cartridge firing shorties, have Ol #4 lowering the hammer spurs, and I'm going to reshape the frame into a sem-bird's head... I already have a couple of Kirst Konvertors in .38 for Pietta, and still have a bunch of Pietta .36 cylinders. So Pietta it is...

I'm surprised that no one has popped up here with a used one to sell. Usually they're plentiful... guess I'll order one.

Thanks!

McC
