Texas Phil Peeno #50923
I know it is Hollywood but shouldn't drovers be more less concerned about their facial hair? Too many rough cowboys with baby smooth cheeks. I just can't see drovers shaving at the break of dawn before rounding up the herd. Just like trail boss said, "we're burning daylight!" Utah Bob #35998
Period photos of cattle drives reveal a variety of facial hair from smooth cheeks to big mustachios to full beards. Every cowhand had a razor in his saddlebags I suspect.
