Lyin' Ike
I have an “old” style Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC, I shoot duelist and I’m thinking about replacing the hammer with a Bisley or a Super Black Hawk. Any suggestions?

Tom Bullweed
I have normal sized but thick hands. Going to the slimmer gunfighter grips (Ajax checkered) helped give me more hand to reach the hammers. This seemed to be a simple fix and really dressed up the guns. The Original Lumpy Gritz
I also shoot Duelist. I have med. sized hands and find the std. hammers in my OMV .44's to work well. Many folks with large hands find the lower hammer is not the best. Have you shot a Ruger with the lower style hammers your looking for yet ?
