We have people bring in old guns to my work for destruction...Our policy says that any guns taken for destruction MUST be destroyed. people have brought in some real junk but we have had to send a nice Colt 1911 national match, a browning Hi Power, and a WWI era FN .380 to the smelter. (nothing in our rules and policy say we cannot "buy" guns off the public. so instead of donating them for destruction..sometimes people walk away with some money in thier pocket) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And In the future maybe they can get more junk off the street and put it towards good guns and better yet great instruction on the safe way to use a firearm.
