M97 manufacture dates

Will somebody please verify these for me. Both are solid frames.

 

 

C style Ser#1125xx

 

No alpha Ser# 432xx

Thanks.

 

Needed the help for parts. Never loaded two. Always single loaded. WB says you can load SIX. Found out cartridge stops are worn and lifter/elevator cannot open them wide enough.

For what it is worth there is another source of information.

They are in conflict.

One author whose data is present on the following link from Marauder's site

contradicts info from the proofhouse site.

 

Marauders 97 SN

 

The two providers of information used here are Madis and Hartman.

A cowboy named Goody pointed out Hartman info to me.

Hartman worked on a book.

While I have ordered it and have not receive it, it could be interesting.

I have several books by Madis.

Hartman contradicts Madis.

 

They are similar in dates give or take a year or two.

 

According to the data from marauders site where Hartman's info is used the dates are 1897 and 1899.

Madis's data from proofhouse shows 1899 and 1901.
