Thought I would try here just in the event that some Pard might have a hardness tester for cast lead bullets that is gathering dust in a saddle bag somplace. Winter project is to cast some boolits for the 45-90 and thought I might use a hardness tester as part of the process. It is nothing but cast bullet shooters and you might stand a better chance. The Lee is the cheapest @ $60 but is hard to use for older eyes. The best and the one I own is the Cabine Tree model that is made by one of the forum members named Gussy. They sell for $120 but are built like a tank and are easy to use. If you buy the combo model you can use it to measure bullet or loaded ammo run out which is very important in long range shooting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
