Does anyone know of any good Gun Shows in Texas and Oklahoma after December 15th?

I have family, cousins, aunts and uncles, who live in San Antonio and Corpus Christi, as well as up in and around Norman Oklahoma. They have invited my wife and I down there for the Holidays and we're now thinking of going down there for a trip.

So since I've heard so much about how great the Gun Shows are in Texas and Oklahoma, I figure that while my wife is visiting my relatives, "La Familia," I can go to a show or two and maybe check out some dealers and see what folks have to sell down there.

I also don't know the laws pertaining to gun sales to CA residents, so if there are special laws that I need to know about then please let me know what they are?

Thanks!

This site may help.

http://www.gunshows-usa.com/texas_gun_&_knife_shows.htm

I think there is another company that does shows that may not be listed here as they are competitors.

Do a google search under Texas Gun Shows. This was under North Texas Gun Shows.

Enjoy your vacation,

Paniolo , There are four gun shows on the weekend of Dec. 18-19 ; Fredricksburg @ Gillespie County Fairgrounds ; Corpus Cristi @ Alamin Shrine ; Pasadena @ Convention Center : Ft. Worth @ Will Rogers Center.

Probably not any the next weekend , being Christmas Day Saturday. Don't have a calender for January , might be one somewhere on New Year's weekend.

Hope this is some help , Rex

Due to California's requirement of FFL's required to pre register to send a gun to a California FFL your probably not going to be able to purchase from a Dealer unless they have already gone throught the process.

By Federal Law you can't do a Face to Face from a individual on a handgun since your not a Texas resident.

I'm not sure aboult the long guns. Maybe Kid Sahne from Ok or Nate Kiowa Jones will jump in on that topic!

When I travel I just carry a signed FFL with me and if a to good to pass up deal comes along I just purchase the gun and have it shipped to my FFL. Simple as clock Work!

A big thanks to everyone for all of the information and the links.

Seems like I have to figure out where to go first! Right now it may be Oklahoma City first.

It must be nice to live in an area where you have so many choices.

This is great! Thanks again!

To all, please have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful and Happy New Year!

And as always Semper Fi pards!
