  1. I came across these while cleaning up my gun area. I have no use so I’m thinking $30 shipped. Never been opened. Let me know.
  2. Great shotgun and a good length for grouse. Lefties beware though, they come with a right hand cant in most cases. I spent $700 on a left hand stock for my 20 ga. having learned the hard way. I don’t think the right hand bias is true of older models as I shot one for some years-grouse pheasant etc. until I gave it to my uncle. Loaned, actually, but he had it on the roof of his car and drove away. Never seen again. I miss that gun.
  3. I pulled the ad, sold the SKB and now own my own 1903 Springfield w wood handle bayonet. Kept my wife, and still have a hog gun. Yeah for me!
  4. That’s one heck of a deal. The 700 is about as fine a rifle as ever was. Been shooting mine since Carter was in office.
  5. I think the Duke would agree that as Americans, that’s what we should do. So thank you for your comments. And on a side note, 44 years he’s been dead and no one can say anything negative about him except disagreeing with his opinions. He was exactly as he presented himself: a red blooded American who loved his country, a good drink or two, and was loyal to his friends.
  6. The Duke was of a different time and hard to judge by todays standards fairly but he was wrong on many points such as the taking of native lands and the Vietnam war, EPA, the civil rights movement. On a separate note: the confederate statues are, in themselves, an attempt to rewrite history. Most of these statues were erected by the daughters of the confederacy in an attempt to rebrand the war as a states rights conflict and not one for and about slavery. And it was very successful judging by many Americans view of the war. The war, the state governments who seceded, the generals who led the armies all did so for the cause of slavery. That much is proven fact in the realm of historians.
  7. This is a Last Best West 20x beaver hat. Their 20 x rating is 50% beaver and the hat wears and feels like it. It’s beautiful but those days are past. I have $530 in it. Will sell for $275 shipped. ** I bought this hat about three years ago when I lived in the upstate of SC. I’m in sunny Florida now and it’s way too warm. My cowboy shooting days are over and I want a 1903 I saw. I told my wife I hadn’t bought a gun all year but that didn’t work;) So sell some stuff and give it a new life. **Caveat on shipping. If you’re in the lower 48 and not in Washington Oregon or parts of Idaho that apparently bring freight and n by pack mule still. I’m allowing about $50 to ship and if it goes way over we’ll talk.
  8. Sherman wasn’t an arsonist, he was an HGTV remodeler before his time. Urban renewal one town at a time;)
  9. Beautiful. Can’t afford right now but forget cowboy; take that for pheasants and grouse. You’ll be the only kid on your block to have one!
  10. Japanese made Ithaca SKB 200E 20ga. The stock has a few scratches but overall in good shape (see pics). I’ve got it on GB starting at $1249 but I’ll do $1000 shipped here. Make an offer! I want the 1903 without going to deep into my pocket. I'll run this once more hoping for a quick sale as I’ve located a Springfield 1903 in pretty good shape.
  11. Right barrel modified and Left improved cylinder. The pull is 14” which surprised me but my other shotguns are 14-3/4” and apparently 3/4” and no coat makes it seem shorter than it sounds. It’s odd and maybe the shorter barrels, 25”, make it seem an odd fit. I was surprised when I measured and had to recheck.
  12. I’ve got the paperwork now. I had one before and traded for an 1887 1873 in 44-40 that had the barrel re-sleeved but I miss it. I have an SA M1 shooter, a National Postage M1 Carbine that’s a good shooter. Both from CMP. But thanks for the heads up.
  13. After some input, price drop. I have for sale an Ithaca made by SKB in Japan 200E side by side in 20 gauge. In very good condition, it has the blued and engraved receiver, red fiber optic front sight and the very cool barrel selector button on the trigger. Excellent for upland, so light and quick. But my upland days are over and I’m thinking about a 28 gauge for skeet (bad shoulder). Would be great for cowboy action. Sold a 100 SKB cut for Cowboy in 20ga. a while back for $1300 so I’m guessing here but $1350 shipped. Reduced Now $1250 I will entertain offers and possible trades. Im looking for a CMP or similar WWII vintage 1911A1 or a 28 ga over and under. I like Beretta but I’m not too picky. Depending on the trade I can add cash or you can. Let me know. pics shortly
