I hear ya Bill. But I think it's more bucks than guts. Court is not cheap.

The video is 10 years old, but the two-tone one is up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale. Not sure if it's the same car.

How would they do that? There are no records for buying ammunition. You can just pay cash for it and leave with it.
True.
But this administration has 99% non-compliance with their AWB. Might be a way to save some dignity.
Or they let it leak out on purpose just to mess with gun owners.
They barely have enough cops for basic service calls. Staffing a squad like this would be a neat trick.

Thanks.

This website sells targets printed on the pictures of school children as they play. The money they raise goes to pass laws to curtail your Second Amendment rights. They have officially reached a new low.

I've been asked about just what this case has to do with gun owners. Well, it has to do with the rulemaking authority of federal agencies. The BATFE, being one such agency. It's a 1984 case that outlined administrative authority, which most feel has been egregiously exceeded by the BATFE.
The best explanation I could find, without too much legal mumbo jumbo, was on the Ammoland page.

The Illinois Governor could use Executive Orders to bully the population as he has done. However, with legislative super-majorities in both Houses, they could pass a confiscation bill and have it signed into law in 72 hours.
Interesting video.

I really enjoy stories like this. Thanks for sharing.
I just read yesterday that Dan Rowan (Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In), was a fighter pilot in the Pacific Theater during WWII, where he also was wounded.
Fascinating story.

Nothing like a necked down 20mm shell to give you the biggest gun on your block! The video is 5 years old, but one of these is coming up for auction at Rock Island. A checkbook probably would not work, might need a mortgage broker.

If you want to drive about 3 hours to the south east (Springfield, MO), Jim Downing (thegunengraver.com) works out of the Cherokee Firearms gun shop. He's president of his SASS club and I think just got his fifth award from True West Magazine as Best Western Gun Engraver. He started engraving in the late 1970's.
Good guy to deal with. He did a pair of Vaqueros for us last year. Awesome work.

If you were a putting off moving out of Illinois in thinking things would get better for gun owners, this will remove that last glimmer of hope.
Revoking a FOID card now means you lose your drivers license under this bill. And remember, there is a super majority in both houses, plus the Governor likes stuff like this.
Wow
