  1. Along the lines of I Just Want To Celebrate...some kick ass guitar from Johnny Winter...
  2. Might have already posted this one but...
  3. I've seen Charlie and many of the incarnations of CDB many times over the years. He always seemed to come to Florida and events around Florida for many, many years. I always liked the ones he did in Brooksville...there was never a bad concert or off night that I ever saw. Always a fun musician, entertainer and his songs meant something to me then and still do today. Said it the way he saw it, the way it really is and from the heart. One of these days, I'll get up your way...I'd relish talking with you about the people, music and memories that make up your vast career and hobbies if you'd allow.
  4. Hell Yeh, that's the Charlie I remember. Gawd, I miss those days.
  5. One of the most funnest song I've ever known.
  6. Went to see Ted four times. Absolutely the loudest concerts that I have ever been to. The Amboy Dukes were good but Ted on his own was GREAT. The Electric Ballroom (so-called) album got worn out in the high school parking lot. Free For All and Cat Scratch were good also. Started to go downhill with Weekend Warriors. Add Jensen Mindblower speakers to the Pioneer car stereo to the equation...no wonder I'm damn near deaf now. Does anyone remember the first rock and roll song played by Dr. Johnny Fever when the format changed on WKRP? I do. By the way BOOGER. Ahhh, those were the days.
  7. And sliced it against the grain. A travesty all the way around.
  8. Is that at the intersection of Bobbitt Blvd?
  9. Rest in Peace Toby and Thank You...
  10. Nope, gotta have potatoes to go with that steak!
  11. One of the reasons that a trailer could come loose is due to attaching the chains like that. The weight of the chains combined with a big bump overcoming the tension of the cotter pin, something in the road hitting the chains and yanking the cotter pin out or various other reasons could cause the hitch to come loose. If I was that worried about the trailer dragging me to my death, I would just not use the chains Loose trailers don't always go to the right side of the road, I hate to have to explain to the family of the people that hit the loose trailer (that went to the left side of the road) my reasoning behind attaching it to the cotter pin.
  12. One of Billy Joel's best songs. The song is ironic in a not so good way...
  13. A man that obviously doesn't know beans about chili. Chili must have beans, if for nothing else but to have the bed for yourself for the night.
  14. And the Smashmouth version (RIP Steve Harwell)
  15. He was...a dirty rat.
  16. Ben....in his later years.
  17. A very poignant song that still rings true...
  18. Looks like a kickball to me. I don't associate that ball with any particular sound.
