  3. Slim, it will work on a 66 or 73, any caliber. The spring and follower are ss and the end cap is an easy open with an Allen wrench.

  4. Todd German tried to sell my parts to SARGE BEWARE of TODD GERMAN
  5. No, it's the stainless-steel mag tube with a spring, and screw cap for the end, and the stainless-steel follower. I can send pics if you are interested.
  6. The mag tube is for a 38/357 1873. I don't believe it's interchangeable. I don't have any 45's to check it with. Sorry. Recently found out the mag tube works for all calibers
  7. This fits a 20" 1873 rifle. It includes end plug, follower and spring. It has a Matt finish. $150 shipped.
  8. Was the short stroke kit ever installed in a rifle, and if so, did it have an aluminum or brass carrier?
  9. Timing is perfect, springs are new. After discussing the problem with Joe, It took 5 attempts at removing a little from the carrier throat at the ridges where the wide portion tightens down to the narrow section on the top of the carrier. Runs great. Called Joe and discussed the results. All is good. Thanks to all that chimed in. Regards... RT
  10. Problem resolved. Joe at PGW suggested opening the throat on the carrier where the top goes from wide to narrow.
  11. So do I notch the arm on the top, where there is already a slight notch, a little bit more, or add to the bottom of the ball section on the tip of the arm
  12. I recently purchased a lightly used Uberti 357 1873 rifle with a pioneer short stroke. The shooter wasn't very fast so there was no problem, but I cycle a rifle very fast for an old guy. (10 rounds in 4.2 seconds). My problem is that the bolt shoulder catches on the front taper of the carrier and stops the bolt from full travel backwards, when running it fast. It has Wisper springs for carrier and lever. How can I fix this speed problem? Do I notch the lifter, so it rides lower on the down movement or do I file the shoulder on the carrier? My other 73, 357 rifle has everything the same except there is a deeper notch on the lifter arm.
  13. Hey Boom Pop, If you have Charles Daley shotguns I have a bunch of Charles Daley 306 parts from a gun that I parted out. See the pics.  I have a stock with a couple of cracks at the wrist but could be dilled and pinned with a dole rod.  The beaver tail and locking mech is good. and the barrels are great.  All parts plus barrel and beaver tail  $200 and stock is free.

Or $75 for receiver parts and $125 for Beaver Tail and Barrels and I'll toss the stock in for free.

    .plus shipping

    Any interest
