  1. Took the USPS stage awhile to deliver the parts.  I said parts because Dillion added a Indexer Return Spring.

This morning I finally got around to fix Old Faithful.  Skinned thought the YouTube Larson E Pettifogger provided, hind-site I should have not skimmed.  I forgot about removing the Indexer Return Spring and Pawl Spring.  I learned about my mistake when reassembling.  Found the Indexer Return Spring stuck to a magnet on the workbench.  Didn’t need it because I used new one Dillion provided.  The Pawl Spring was a different matter.  Did it launch when the Indexer broke or this morning during disassembly?  Odds are I’ve already stepped on it, smashed flat and bent into a pretzel.  I’ll have to wait another week for that part…what’s that laying over there under the chair?  Bingo!  Found it and it’s in mint condition.  I’m back in business.

I respectfully disagree.  There isn’t a shotgun big enough or close enough that I can’t manage to miss.

Matthew, may I ask a dumb question?

Why did you spell it like that? You should either spell it with Latin letters, or you should spell it with Greek letters. But using the Latin L in molon and the Greek lambda in labe is puzzling.

    Μολὼν λαβέ

Because that was closest spelling I could find without ordering custom.

  5. As a kid mom wouldn't allow me to watch Roy Rogers.  Too violent.  Imagine a black and white TV show with any special effects (compared to today) being considered violent.

Roy Rogers was on after Romper Room and a few times mom wouldn't get the TV turned off in time.  Nellie Belle is where I got my lust for a Jeep.  Took me 65 years but I final got one, named it Mo (without a "E").

    Bet it was a SCAMMER.

    I heard it was Trump’s fault.

Landline.  I retired from a Telephone Company.  Boss decided to test a newly installed auto transfer switch during on a week day during normal business hours.  Normally we test things like this at 2 AM in case there are unexpected outages.  But he’s the Boss and flip the switch.  Power was to transfer from the electric utility to batteries without any service interruptions.  Instead the entire Central Office lost power, no phones service, no Internet, no 911 rerouting, no special circuits, everything was dead.  Took us an to hour restore all services.  Boss made programming changes to his auto transfer switch and tried again…yep with the same results as the first time.

Then there are the folks who decide Sunday is a good time to dig a hole for a mailbox post without calling in for locates.  Or the County Highway using a front end loader to push snow way back off the pavement without thinking about the telephone pedestals they are cutting off at ground level.  Or the State mowing the telephone pedestal off, picking up the evidence and not bothering to notify us.

  7. Wasn’t able to monitor if the site was broadcasting?  A $5 transistor AM radio tuned to their frequency would eliminate that excuse.

It’s the typical FCC government over regulation that shut down the FM side of the station.  Actually the station received authorization to rebroadcast their AM programming in FM to allow the smaller station to compete.  Station hadn’t broadcast AM in years and had received a notice of violation from the FCC.

Picture of the tower site reported a year earlier shows no fencing around the site as required.

Owner claims he can show electric bills that show power consumption proving site was in use.  Youtube shows the electric meter socket connections green with corrosion indicating meter has been removed for a long time.  Owner refused to share his electric bills.

    .

Me thinks the Owner has the qualifications to run for political office at the Federal level.

I got my new American Rifleman magazine today.  Voted and then got to wondering what was the necessity of a 75 member board.  What do these people do that it takes that many to make decisions? Anyone know?

To make the due payers feel like they have a voice.  The same reason the organization was run by the Executive vice-president instead of by the President.

Music is pre recorded on a chip. Sounds like movie score. It is not super loud, but ok. Watch has 2 batteries, 1 for time, and 1 for music. Video on you tube.

Bummer.  It has the orchestra music overlaid on the tune.

What scares me the most, are the poll results.

This tells me a huge number of voters do not yet have a belly full of inflation, crime, drugs, illegals, bums, corruption, fascism and boys pretending to be girls.

Are these the same Pollsters that had Hillary winning the Presidency?

I think it was the TV show "Naked and Afraid" I was watching.  Man thought he was doing the smart thing by drinking from a running stream.  They medically hauled him out a free days later.  If he had checked further up stream he would have found the stream was the overflow from a stagnate pond.

  13. Ding Dong the Wizard is gone, the Wizard gone, Ding Dong the wicked Wizard is gone!  It's about time!!!

On the flip side.  I don't understand how a State can tell a private company how the company can spend their funds.

You can't recruit me because I was more madder at little Obama then I was at the Wizard when I became a Lifer.

I don't drink coffee so I'm assuming that you boil water to make coffee?  If'n my assumption is correct that the water would be save to drink (because boiling) until you add the coffee...:D

I don't remember reading any historical facts the west was settled by transporting bottled mineral spring water across the plains.  They got their water from streams, rivers, watering holes, lakes along the way.  But on the other hand that might explain why too many Californian's corn bread ain't done in the the middle.

I’ll check that out, but it’s funny I didn’t have any problem with the older primers. Same press same brass! Just strange.

Same here.  Same press, same brass, different brand of primers when my press stopped auto indexing!

Got to be the primers right?  That's the only variable that changed.  Wrong.  Part broke on the press.  :(
