Wing and a Prayer

1944 movie about a single aircraft carrier and the role it played in the days after Pearl Harbor and up to the battle of Midway.  Lots of stars, good photography. good script, really good movie. overall.

 

Brought up one question:  Almost all of the crew, officers and enlisted, wore pajamas in several scenes.  This is about a U. S. Navy combat ship on spur of the moment contact with the Japanese.  I would think they would have dressed in a more ready condition.....but then, I wasn't there.

 

It's worth watching, though.
