Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted March 21 Share Posted March 21 While the Kansas Chiefs and Royals sports franchises are attempting to extort extended taxpayer support for their stadiums, (they are once again threatening to leave) the Kansas City Public Schools want a place at the feeding trough too. The KCPS, like many urban school districts, is a black hole for public funding while achieving increasingly subpar results. Now they want money for “literacy interventionists and high-dosage tutoring”. That’s a new one on me.
