Alpo
The ballistics they show on TV cop shows is nonsense. They compare that bullet to this bullet and IT'S A MATCH!!!! Yeah it's a match. Four grooves with a right hand twist. He was shot with a Colt. But real ballistics, where they do a microscopic examination of the grooves in the bullet, because every barrel is minutely different. So if you took your murder weapon and you tossed it in the bay. Salt water. And it gets found a week or so later, and rust has formed in the barrel, would they be able to get a match? Or would the rust have changed it enough that they could not prove that it was the same gun?
