High Performance Rig The basket weave is very deep and even, just flawlessly done. The stitching is clean The weight of leather is substantial The dye is even and soaked The backing is crisp The cartridge loops are clean and tight The holsters feel like they may be part tank The way the lock system works on the holsters is top notch Shotgun Belt The shotgun belt is a very trick piece of gear Basket weave again, deep and flawless Love the leather shelf to keep the shells in a constant reference and from sinking low In the loops Mernickle was awesome enough to add conchos for a matching theme Mernickle laoding strip High quality. Not much to say,l but a solid piece that I will garentee lasts forever Mernickle suspenders I did not expect the basket weave to also be added to them and they are beautiful, great touch from Mernickle. Mernickle Hat Band Great piece well made, solid rivets great looking conchos Mernickle service Mernickle was very helpful and was more than happy to make small changes, different conchos for example to match pieces with other peices and have been very nice and easy to deal with throughout the experiance. Bone -A-Fyde Screw knife Just a bomb proof piece. Blade is at least a 1/4 inch thick damascus and very well done. The handle to full tang fit is top notch and he was also very very good to deal with and even saved us both on shipping and took it over to be mailed with my rig from mernickle....The reason this is above and beyond is I did not order it through Mernickle. I wanted a custom piece and Clyde was more than accommodating and helped make some handle material choices that turned out better than I had in mind and the holster mounted sheath from mernickle fits snug and deep. I'll also mention that this knife doubles as a bottle opener for those cold root beers on the range.... Bottom Line I'm sure many know this, I cannot imagine a better set up. I am sure there are other great rigs out there but after receiving this one I'll never buy anywhere else then Mernickle and Bone-A-Fyde Knives. New shooters For any new shooters, I would recommend Mernickle and Bone-A-Fyde without hesitation, judging by this set I would have to imagine that there starter set is one of the best deals going... The rig I bought was NOT cheap but has outstanding value for the money. But if the starter set is this quality for the price listed then you could never go wrong.
