My wife bought this apple peeling machine recently.  We've had them before.  They work like a lathe.  I'm sure you've seen or used them.  This one is made in China.  To use it, you skewer the apple and rotate the crank.  If you do it without an apple in place, it will destroy the blade. Simple!

 

But look closely at the warning sticker. 

It's hard to read, but it says, "No vibrating with nothing on".  

I got a very good laugh!
