Taos
I've been shooting a pair of Taylor Runnin' Iron pistols for over three years now without a single problem with the guns. Lately I'm getting light strikes out of one pistol. I suspect its the firing pin safety. A couple years ago I found some good instructions on how to disable the safety, but I can't seem to find that info now. Can anyone point me in the direction of info for defaulting the firing pin safety? Thanks
Diamond Jake
Search YouTube for Plowboy Ghost's channel. He has a video on how he did it. I have two revolvers with that style safety. I don't know that I've had a problem with the safety, but I've had a few where I had to run through the cycle to get a shot. It might have been a light strike or I may have just screwed up. I'll blame myself rather than the firing pin at this point. I've never had a problem in practice.
