Blackwater 53393 Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 ANY competent high school English teacher can quickly silence ANY argument as to the meaning and purpose of the wording in the Second Amendment!! Everything before "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" is explanatory and has no real bearing on the essential intent of the statement! The Second amendment could just as easily have been shortened to just the portion appearing in quotes above!! Link to comment
