H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619
I have a made in 1861 Colt 1860 revolver that has been cartridge converted to .32 S&W Long. The gunsmith who did some work repairing some timing issues says it is in excellent mechanical shape, and he test fired it with .32 S&W Long wadcutters loaded with smokeless powder. (Very light loads, obviously.) Anyway, I am tooled up for both .32 S&W and .32 S&W Long, and I am wondering what else might be out there that I can obtain in either of those calibers to pair with this gun. I plan on loading up black powder, (or substitute) to run in this gun given its age, although I will admit that the clearly modern made .32 Cylinder and Barrel are quite beefy looking. Might be interesting to have both main match and pocket pistols all in the same caliber at a big shoot someday. Here's the pistol in question. I wish it could talk.
