Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
Little Billy got a Big Boy and we noticed right off that, as most new guns are, it was hard to work. As expected it was do in large part to the hammer spring. Turns out the Marlin after market spring is a direct drop in. One screw to remove the stock. We chose to use a pair of pliers to rotate the rear curved hammer spring "holder" to free the original. Replace with after market, curved piece back in and stock reattached. He ran it during a match yesterday and no problems. Had a clean match, too (I, on the other hand jammed a bullet in my barrel and recieved 9 misses . . . but that's another story)
