Professor Thoreau, SASS 2611
Sold Pending Funds $925 Shipped Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited chambered in .45LC with a 24” octagonal barrel and factory checkered butt stock and forearm. I bought this new and received it in 1997. Pioneer GunWorks did an action job on it a decade or more ago and I put a leather butt cover on it along with replacing the front and rear sights. The original front and rear sights are included along with the original styrofoam packing container and shipping box. There is a crescent mark on the barrel just after the receiver where one often sees the “JM” stamped. This was bought a decade before Remington’s takeover of Marlin and the shipping box has the date of 3-1-1997 in addition to the serial number which is 04040021 and Marlin's return address in North Haven, Connecticut [please see last photo for this]. It was made by Marlin. This rifle is in excellent condition and runs fine. I am just partial to other calibers for general shooting. Please review the numerous photos to fully evaluate the condition of this rifle. Terms: Sales to the lower 47 States only. No sales to California because I have not found a local dealer who will ship there and no sales to Alaska and Hawaii due to excess shipping cost. Please feel free to ask questions. Payment with USPS money order preferred. Once payment and a copy of FFL are received, I will take this rifle to my local FFL dealer who will ship it insured to the FFL provided. FFL may be e-mailed or mailed to me with your payment, sorry no faxes. No international sales. Please make sure that the laws in your area allow you to own this items prior buying. Thank you for looking. Professor Thoreau SASS Life #2611
